Good weekend for Manna Gum Tours providing a wine tour on Saturday and another on Sunday for two business groups celebrating their Christmas breakups. A very hot weekend did not deter the enjoyment of the wine tours.
On Saturday, the first stop was at the rustic Balnarring Vineyard and then to Port Phillip Estate. The next wine tasting was at the Yabby Lake Vineyard where we also had lunch. It was a good escape from the extremely hot day although it was little warm inside as well. The next stop following lunch was cider tasting at Mock before some cheese tasting at Red Hill Cheese. Our final visit, which is always a good way to finish, was to the Bass & Flinders Distillery.
On Sunday, like Saturday, the first two visits were Balnarring Vineyard and then to Port Phillip Estate. The next stop was to the Morning Sun Vineyard where we also had lunch. After lunch we then visited Main Ridge Dairy for some goat cheese tasting. The cool change was happening then which was a welcome relief. A quick visit to the beautiful Ocean Eight Vineyard before finishing at the Bass & Flinders Distillery again.
